![]() I would like to know which $ 100-150 interface USB would be for being able to hear previous recorded tracks as well hear what I am currently tracking( guitars, etc) in real tine. Thinking seriously about moving away from this USB 302, however I have an old turntable and its good for using with Audacity to get the vinyl into pc. I sat with a fellow musician using direct sound and tweaked until latency was tolerable- was trying, also used ASIO4ALL. In some instances, I used the settings for latency in T4 settings from every option available. I overdubbed soft synths from USB MIDI interface from old keyboard as well as pianos from keyboard. I discovered the same issue after putting a VSTi drum pattern from Addictive Drums 2 in Tracktion. Prior recording exp was on Roland VS 1880 series. wo using ASIO4ALL using Tracktion 4( it came w. ![]() I have played with the settings and latency settings w. I have this same interface, for the price, I thought it was a steal for getting audio into pc. Is this how it's supposed to be, or is it just a limitation of this super cheap mixer? Could some clever routing of the signal or hacking the curcuits allow me to do both at once?Īs a workaround right now I'm routing the output of my daw to the onboard soundcard and use the headphone jack on the computer for listening to what I play, but it sounds very bad. ![]() So if I wanted to overdub a track, I'd get both the computer output and whatever's in front of the microphone recorded at the same time in the new track. If I play something back on my computer and listen to it, it will too be recorded when I press record. ![]() I can use it either to record stuff into my computer or to listen back to stuff that's playing on the computer. And don't worry, I have upgraded to a proper condenser as well) but here's the thing that's bothering me: The sound is clear (compared to plugging a cleap plastic computer mic directly into my onboard soundcard's mic in. I know a lot of people here like trashing Behringer, and I assume you all have your reasons, but as I basically have no money to spare on anything at the moment, this mixer was the best I could do, and it's been serving me mostly well. I recently bought a Behringer Xenyx 302 USB, which is my first mixer, to use for starting to record my own music a little more seriously.
